the Home page to start your search for available dogs!  Thank you!

My name is BOOMER and I love people. Let me curl up with you on the couch, lie down at your feet or better yet let’s go out and play. Just don’t forget the tennis balls! Rain or shine, warm or cold, I love running and playing. People are most important to me and other dogs are fun too, but chasing the ball is my favorite activity. I want this one, no that one, ohhh, THAT one! Ah, who am I trying to kid, I want to play with ALL OF THEM!

I am 3 years of age and 48 pounds with a medium coat that’s pretty easy to maintain. I come when called and sit to be petted. I am learning to keep four paws on the floor at all times but I just get so excited. It would probably be best if there were no cats, or at least dog savvy cats, as I do have a keen interest in felines and am a bit of a bother to them.

Dad says I am well behaved during quiet time. I go into the crate willingly because I know I am getting food and treats. I stay quiet, especially at night, so everyone in the house gets a good night’s rest. They say I am house and crate trained too. I will use the doggy door when I need to go outside, but if the back door is closed I’ll pace and go to the door to let you know it’s time.

BOOMER is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to enquire about BOOMER, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. BOOMER is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, California.
