This is our pretty girl, Molly. She is the sweetest thing. We think she is a 1 year old cattledog / Border Collie mix female pup. Molly only weighs about 25 lbs. Here in our foster home, she gets along well with our other foster dogs. She plays well with some other medium sized foster dogs we have - Kaylee is one of her play buddies. She loves a good race me chase me game and has recently learned tug of war and fetch as well. She also likes to be held and cuddled and petted. We are not sure how he would do with cats. However, when we are out walking, she seems pretty focused when she sees a cat. A meet and greet would tell us how she would do with your current pets.

At a recent adoption event, she was friendly and social with the children and adults that came up to pet her and feed her treats.  Molly is a pleasure to walk on a leash.  Molly is also crate trained and doing pretty well on her house training too. You will just love the little toothy grin she gives from time to time. What a sweetie. We have recently learned that Molly is hearing impaired. Some merle colored dogs carry a recessive gene that sometimes causes deafness in dogs. After our vet verified that Molly's ear drums are intact, we believe that this recessive gene issue may be the cause of her deafness. But Molly doesn't look at this as a draw back in her life, as she lives everyday to the fullest. She loves an outdoor project and loves to be your helper.

She comes running up to you when she sees you and asks for some loving. She is very social with people and tries to get a good game going with other dogs. Tug of war, race me chase me, and light wrestling with other dogs her size or larger is right up her alley. She enjoys a good hike out in the country. For more on information on training a hearing impaired dog, check out the following website:

If you are interested in adopting Molly, we ask that you visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org and click on Adoption process. Please take a moment to read through our adoption process and fill out an adoption application. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Thank you for considering a rescued pet, and thank you for your support. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
