GEORDIE is a small boy in body, weighing about 32 pounds. He is a happy & spirited youngster, who has lots of energy for play, both with his people & with his toys. He loves to jump up in the air with his front legs outstretched, as if he is dancing & with the biggest smile on his face! He is a wee bit shy when he first meets someone, but that reserve melts away quickly and he becomes a total love bug. He likes encouragement when he tries new things and he learns very quickly, being toy & treat-motivated.
GEORDIE has excellent house manners in being housebroken for pottying outside. He is also crate trained for sleeping at night or resting during the day when his foster mom has to run some errands. GEORDIE came into rescue with his sister & got along with her splendidly, though he has had some disagreements from time to time with the other male dogs in his foster home. He would probably prefer to live as an only dog or perhaps with a female. He has not met a cat since he has been in our rescue. If you're looking for a sweet, active, but not over-the-top little buddy, then GEORDIE might just be the boy for you!
GEORDIE is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
