Allow us to introduce HONEY, a very sweet, 3-year old, deep red & white Border Collie. If you're looking for a companion and are familiar with the herding breeds, HONEY is your gal. She came to us by the way of a shelter and is looking for her forever home. HONEY is full of energy and all she wants to do is please you. Give her kisses and she will return them. Give her the exercise and attention she deserves and she will be your loyal best friend. HONEY loves to play ball, and yes, she will retrieve and put the ball on point. "Leave it" she's familiar with and is ever ready to chase the next throw. HONEY loves the pool and she loves to run and jump and play in the water if you're near water or water bug yourself HONEY is more than happy to join you. Work around the house chores to do? HONEY would be happy to help you there as well.
HONEY is very attentive and very alert. She is a good traveler as she rides well in the car. She is learning to sit and to stay and walks very well on lead. HONEY is crate trained and sleeps well through the night without interruption. HONEY came from a pack of four siblings. She is now looking to be your solo top dog. She ignored the kitty at her initial foster home and though there are no cats at her current foster home, while she enjoys watching the squirrels, she has not shown any inclination to chase them either. With a little continued training, consistency, stability and lots of love, HONEY will make you proud.
HONEY is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to enquire about HONEY please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. HONEY is being fostered in East Sacramento, California.
