Meet 4-year-old sweetheart KELLY. She was an elderly woman's beloved pet, so she comes to us with all kinds of wonderful qualities. She seeks the attention of people and is congenial with the other dogs in her foster home. She likes to have the attention of her foster family, so would probably thrive best in a home where she gets to be the one & only; that's the life she knew before coming into rescue. And while she will play with a young dog in her foster family, she is not keen to play with toys. KELLY enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. She wants to please & has nice manners, even offering a sit before getting her meal. She also takes treats nicely. KELLY has a medium energy level for a border collie so she doesn't need crazy activity to keep her happy and well-behaved. She is housebroken (she takes a pill once a week) & crated-trained.
KELLY is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to enquire about KELLY please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. KELLY is being fostered in Brownsville in Yuba County, California.
