Knotty • Female •  9 weeks • Adopted!  Please return to
the Home page to start your search for available dogs!  Thank you!

KNOTTY is a beautiful 9-week-old black and white border collie/ cattle dog mix. She is black faced and has white legs with black polka dots.  She has a very short shiny coat—almost a smooth coat. She is a wonderful, smart and active pup.  Our suggestion to anyone wishing to adopt her is that they have have knowledge of both border collies and cattle dogs as she has the brains of a border collie and the spunk of a cattle dog.

KNOTTY has the most spunk and love in the litter. Give her a challenge and she will take it on. She loves playing with the other dogs in the litter and the other big dogs in her foster home. She likes to play tug, carry the ball, and find all kind of interesting things in the yard. Playing outside is one of her favorite things. KNOTTY is very interested in the chickens on her foster mom’s property, so we suggest any chickens be securely contained. That said, she is just fine with the tortoises who live in her foster home.

Training KNOTTY will be totally rewarding as she will be your lifetime pal and companion. She is loyal, true and loving. All three of the pups in this litter are wonderfully outgoing. They all learned the doggie door at about 6 weeks and are learning to go potty while they are outside. All three pups are great at paper training and seldom miss so it won't take much to transfer that to "Go potty outside." KNOTTY willingly crates for her meals and happily sleeps on the floor at night.

KNOTTY is started on her puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption, she will need to be altered by her new owner when she reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $100 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
