Allow us to introduce LADY, a 9 year Border collie with medium length, soft coat. LADY is truly sincerely a LADY. She is sweet, gentle, kind and mild mannered. She weighs 57 lbs, is housebroken and crate trained. LADY comes when called (she does know her name). With gentle leadership LADY will sit and lay as commanded. She is a happy girl and loves her human. LADY loves to receive affection and she loves to give it. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing, LADY loves to be there with you. LADY is happy to be your watch dog, your snuggle bug, your movie buddy, and join you as you prepare dinner. She always wants to be included. LADY is still very young at heart but is not interested in hiking mountains or running an agility course. LADY is very happy to live a slower paced life.

LADY would prefer you to be devoted to her, the only dog. LADY is aware when cats are near, fascinated by them actually, but happy to let them be. LADY loves to go for car rides wherever you may go. She loves her daily walks in the neighborhood and local park. LADY enjoys the smells of new ground and enjoys watching birds as they dance around. LADY does like to chase squirrels. LADY and her Foster Mom are enrolled in dog training with a local company as a means of socializing LADY with more with her own kind. The original training class will end November 27, but her new humans are welcome to continue her classroom socialization with the training company (free of charge – as per their policy) for as long as you wish. If you are looking for a gentle companion border collie, look no further.

LADY is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to enquire about LADY please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. LADY is being fostered in Rancho Cordova in Sacramento County, California.
