Little Hebrides Puppies (page 2 of 2)  All Puppies Adopted!
Please visit the
Homepage to start your search for available dogs.

The Little Hebrides Puppies, like their Scottish island namesakes, are a collection of independent, self-sufficient spirits, eager to band together for mutual support, or have a romp across the lawn as the mood strikes them! Mother Skye was an outstanding mama; doting on her charges throughout the day and night, imparting confidence and playfulness into all eight puppies. There are three males - Muck, Mull & Rum, and five females - Coll, Eigg, Iona, Rona, & Tiree.  Four are black coated, three buff colored and one a reddish boy. The trademark of this clan is their waggily tail! Mama Skye is a Border collie mix and the father is unknown, though many people feel these pups look to be a Labrador retriever mix.

The Little Hebrides Puppies have all been wormed, had their first of three rounds of puppy vaccines, are microchipped, and are on monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention. As a condition of puppy adoption, each will need to be altered by his or her new owner when he or she reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $100 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.

If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to enquire about one of the Little Hebrides Puppies, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.  The Little Hebrides Puppies are being fostered in Auburn, in Placer County, California.

MULL (male), is almost all black with a white toe on his back left foot. His soft coat is longish like his mommas and his soulful brown eyes just draw you in! He loves to play and wrestles his siblings with relish! MULL is the most adventurous of the litter always pushing the boundary to see what's over there?' He's fun a nd loving, likes to be held and petted and belly rubs are a must. We dearly love our little Mull!

RONA (female), a gorgeous buff colored female with black on her ears, tail and muzzle. She's a lover and cuddler. RONA is  a confident explorer, adventurous and fun. RONA loves to tear up the paper and play with siblings and toys! Such a sweetheart, medium long coat, that's our RONA!

TIREE (female), is the smallest of the pups, mostly black with a white back foot and a bit of white on her chin. She is playful and tumbles with her siblings as they wrestle each other and grab toys. She is quiet and calm, observant and sweet. TIREE loves petting sessions and adores attention. And especially curling up at your feet! Sweetest girl ever!

RUM (male), the last of the three males, RUM is also the biggest pup in the litter. With his rich reddish brown coat, he is gorgeous! He loves to wrestle and chase his siblings, follows the big dogs and admires the cat. RUM is adventurous and fun, wants attention & petting and is first in line at the food bowl (big surprise!!) We love our RUM.....who really is the color of rum!
