CHERRY (f) is a medium short coated BCx pup.  She has beautiful markings with lots of interesting white patterns. CHERRY is a thinking pup - she is not the first to jump in but likes to think about and plan her approach.  All the other pups love playing with her; it's like she is the trusted one. CHERRY is the best swimmer - I don't think she even realizes she is in the water -smooth as glass and dun to watch her. Squeak toys and tug toys are her favorite, although anything she finds will do, especially plastic bottles. CHERRY sleeps on a dog bed on the floor or under a table in the bedroom  at night - once she is asleep for the night you don't hear another sound from her. Potty training is coming along well as long as she is reminded to go outside on a regular basis. CHERRY has had her first puppy shots, has been wormed, is on flea and tick prevention and will be chipped before she goes to her forever home.

SUE (f) is a short haired black and white BCx. She is sweet sweet sweet and loves to give kisses and snuggle. She is never far away and loves to be part of what ever action is going on. She will be one devoted dog and will never want you to be alone. She will be your forever buddy. I laugh at SUE all the time as at this point she hasn't decided if her ears are going to go up or go down - she is a little clown. Of course like all puppies at 3 months toys are a big part of SUE's life.   Count on her to have a toy to flip and bounce around on and to bring to you to get you to play. Praise is SUE's major motivation - nice words, pats and tummy rubs are her reward.   She is right on track with house breaking - success depends on getting her outside on a regular basis. SUE has had her first puppy shots, has been wormed, is on flea and tick preventive, and will be chipped before going to her forever home.

The MID-SUMMER PUPPIES are all started on their puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption, each will need to be altered by his or her new owner when he or she reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $100 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.

If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to enquire about one of the MID-SUMMER PUPPIES, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.  The MID-SUMMER PUPPIES are being fostered in Live Oak in Sutter County, CA

BOBBY (m) is the only male in the litter. With five sisters he has had to learn to hold his own with in a sweet and loving way.  He is always in wonder of what is going on and who has which toy.  He is a big cuddle boy and likes to sleep as close to you as he can. BOBBY is a short haired black face BCx with plenty of white to make him very handsome. BOBBY loves to pay with toys especially balls and sticks - amazing how he can carry those big sticks around.  BOBBY has also been taking swimming lessons and does an amazing relaxed job. BOBBY loves praise and is food motivated - he is a busy boy yet a nice combination of calm when he is watching the other critters on the property. BOBBY has had his first puppy shots, been wormed, is on flea and tick prevention and will be chipped before going to his forever home.

PEACHES (f) is a small dark-faced black and white BCx pup.   She is short coated and a super sweet cuddly girl.  She is always the first to find you and bring a toy to entice you to play. The more the toy squeaks the better. PEACHES loves activity and is very food motivated.   She is learning a few basic commands plus agility play, very low jumps and going through tunnels. PEACHES big adventure this week was to start to learn to swim in the pool.  She did a great job and is always willing to give something new a try. PEACHES is starting to work on house breaking and using the doggie door or at least looking for a newspaper if she's waited a little too long to make it all the way outside. PEACHES has had her first puppy shots, has been wormed, is on flea and tick prevention and she will be chipped before she leaves for her forever home.

JODY (f) is a short coated black and white BCx. She has a pretty very expressive face with kind loving eyes and a nice white collar. Her white markings are getting polka-dots - so cute! JODY gets along very well with the other critters around here including a large tortoise, cats, adult resident dogs and several visiting dogs - she seems to know when play is ok and when enough is enough and it's time to back off. At about 3 months old we are starting to work on some very basic obedience exercises. JODY is food and praise motivated although she is still working on her attention span but what the heck there is always so much more going on around here. Potty training is coming right along as long as she isn't too busy to make it outside but with consistent encouragement she is amazing for a 3 month old. JODY has had her first puppy shots, has been wormed, is on flea and tick prevention and will be chipped before she goes to her forever home.

ADOPTED!! ADOPTED!! ADOPTED!!

TERRY (f) is a short coated black and white BCx.  She has very nice markings and a beautiful kind face. TERRY likes to start the play games, surprising the other pups with a toy or a flying body block. She is the one to try things first and makes it look like so much fun that every wants to get in the game. TERRY is doing very well at house training and is mostly consistent when taken outside at regular times.  TERRY is both praise and food motivated and she is always the first on in her crate at feeding times. TERRY has had her first puppy shots, been wormed, is on flea and tick prevention and will be chipped before going to her forever home.
