PATRICK is an adorable youngster who is very playful and full of energy. Its go go PATRICK, watch him GO GO GO. PATRICK is very athletic and acrobatic (agility maybe??). He can run, bounce and jump with the best of ‘em but has shown zero inclination to jump the fence, probably because he knows he gets three squares and a warm place to sleep. Yes, I said three squares. PATRICK came to us a bit thin so we are putting some extra meat on his bones. PATRICK loves to eat and is up to about 27 lbs. He will probably top out at 30 – 32 lbs.
PATRICK is smart. He has learned sit, is learning down and has decent recall. He will respond to a call or to a whistle. PATRICK is both food and praise motivated and really tries hard to please. He enjoys learning & having fun which is a great combination for positive results. He is working at potty & crate training. He has not had an accident in his crate in a couple weeks, and accidents in the house are becoming much less frequent. He is quiet at night in his crate but is an early riser. If there is activity around him he wants to be out and about.
Good times for PATRICK are any times he is getting attention and he will seek out that attention. In fact he can be very vocal about it. Be it from people in the form of activities, petting and giving kisses, to being out with the other dogs, he LOVES attention. Being with others makes him happy. He loves bones and dog toys, and has learned from Sissy and Newt that chase and retrieve of tennis balls can be fun too. He loves to come up and put his head on your lap and give kisses. Belly rubs are another favorite activity for our boy. Because of his tendency to jump, along with his herding instinct, he may be a little much around small children. He is cat interested and will probably chase if outside.
PATRICK is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
