the Home page to start your search for available dogs!  Thank you!

PRIZE is a beautiful 9-week-old tri-colored female border collie/ cattle dog mix. She looks a lot like her mom: black body with white polka dot markings and some orange highlights   She is short-coated with a light undercoat. PRIZE is a wonderful and active pup. Our suggestion to her adopting family is that they have knowledge of both border collier and cattle dogs as she has the brains of a border collie and the spunk of a cattle dog.  Knowing how to deal with these two breeds will make training extremely rewarding.  PRIZE is the softest of this litter of three. She is super sweet and super active. She talks a lot—NOT barking but making her own little sounds that sometimes sound just like her foster mom’s house cat, who she loves!

PRIZE likes to lay tug, carry a ball around, and hold on to the leg of your jeans.  She loves to play with the other pups and her mom.  PRIZE is lovely in the way she learns and enjoys working for treats or praise. PRIZE has learned to automatically go to her crate at mealtime.  She might talk about being in the crate but is content until her food is served.  All three of the pups in this litter are wonderfully outgoing.  They all learned the doggie door at about 6 weeks and are learning to go potty while they are outside.  All three pups are great at paper training and seldom miss so it won't take much to transfer that to "Go potty outside."

PRIZE is started on her puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption, she will need to be altered by her new owner when she reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $100 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
