Meet RORY, a 6-7 month-old red and white sweetheart of a puppy. RORY has classic BC markings, a rough coat, big prick ears and a cute disposition where his head turns in an inquisitive way when he hears something new. RORY’s coat is still pup-fuzzy, and he was clipped at the shelter where he came from, so we expect that his permanent coat will be quite lovely when it grows out.
RORY loves being in the yard and especially playing in the water, putting his whole face under to chase the current from the hose or a wayward leaf. Check out his YouTube video with Rory at play. He is a big kisser, showing great affection to his foster pack mates (when they let him) and humans. He loves being petted and hugged, and would gladly settle in on a bed with his family (if his humans let him). RORY is crate-trained and sleeps quietly all night.
RORY would enjoy a dog-buddy who likes to play (and be kissed), and a human family that can give him lots of love. He has BC personality, with a medium drive and a strong ‘eye’ for staring down moving things. RORY loves balls, rope toys, and fluffy things (which immediately get torn apart). He is 90-percent house trained with a few accidents periodically happening in his foster home.
His foster family behavior tested him on the family cat (who knows not to run) and there was zero drama. However, a home with cats should probably have dog-savvy kitties as RORY is a BC with drive, an eye, and who likes to run!
RORY travels well in the car and ready to go to his new family!
RORY is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. RORY is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, California.
