This adorable little 6 month old puppy is pure energy! RUCKUS is a very happy-go-lucky Border Collie who weighs around 30 lbs. He is a beautiful white and lilac color with a medium short easy to care for coat. He has the most awesome blue and golden eyes! As handsome as he is now, he will be absolutely gorgeous when he matures!

RUCKUS is as sweet, lovable and friendly as he can be. His foster Mom believes that a second hand dog makes a first class pet! However, being such a young dog, he does best with consistency when training as he matures. Working with RUCKUS is fun because he has great eye focus, is treat motivated, and is eager to learn new things. Recently his foster Mom discovered that he loves Frisbee and he is learning to catch them in midair, bring them to you and release them. He might enjoy being a Frisbee dog or, perhaps, one of the other dog sports, such as agility, flyball, etc. Even though he can be calm in the house, this is a young dog that requires daily activity/exercise to be happy and relaxed.

RUCKUS has an awesome temperament and tons of potential. He is extremely friendly with people and other dogs. He has not had the opportunity to interact with cats, though. He is definitely not a shy dog! He loves to cuddle with you and pretend he is your lap dog. He will also be your little shadow. Being still a puppy, RUCKUS is working on going outside to potty and has already learned to go into his crate at bedtime where he sleeps quietly until morning. While in his foster home he has learned to sit, stay and lay calmly on his mat until his food is ready. He walks calmly by your side on a leash, so very little work is needed there. RUCKUS has been a pure joy to foster and he deserves to find not just a good home but the RIGHT home! We are looking to find him a forever home with someone who has the time he needs to learn and where he will not be left alone for long periods of time. As is common with Border Collies, and especially with a young puppy, lots of daily exercise is definitely a must! If you have the experience, patience and, especially the time to continue his training, RUCKUS and his foster Mom are eagerly waiting to talk to you.

RUCKUS is micro-chipped, neutered, current on his vaccinations.
