ADOPTED Skittles’ Sweets & Treats Border Collie Mix Puppies

6 Females, 4 Males, 8 Weeks on 11/13/2022

CARAMEL ADOPTED

Mom SKITTLES (a BC Mix) came to us very big and very pregnant. A few days later, on September 18th, THE SWEETS & TREATS PUPPIES came into this world raring and ready to go. All four boys are adopted. They were Cracker Jack (CJ), Clark (Bar), Nougat, & Heath (Bar). Of the six girls, two remain available: Peppermint Patty & Sugar. ADOPTED were Marshmallow, Snickers, & Tootsie (Roll), Caramel. Clark is the biggest, clearing the rest by 2 plus pounds, and Tootsie is the smallest. All are quite adept at using the doggy door to both go out and come back in. The door leads to a secure patio deck where they go out to play and potty. Their potty training is going very well. During the day, and even overnight, they (mostly) venture out to do their business. The puppies are all eating out of individual bowls in a sectioned off pen. They are getting better at sitting prior to heading over from their living quarters to the food pen. They are a smart, active, polite group…especially considering the size of the litter. They are attentive, friendly, and love to be cradled and given belly rubs! SKITTLES (55 to 60 lbs.) will be spayed late November and be posted for adoption after healing. Now let me introduce her babies:

NOTE: Photos on the website are in alpha order, two photos for each dog, as listed below. Mom Skittles is the last picture in the set.

ADOPTED 12/21/2022 ADOPTION PENDING – CARAMEL (Female Red and White with a touch of beige) – Caramel is very attentive. She is always watching us while trying to get our attention. She can be vocal when she doesn’t get the attention, and can be a bit sassy, but in a good way.

ADOPTED 11/22/2022 CRACKER JACK aka CJ (Male Tri Color) – Nothing bothers CJ. He is our special boy who was born with a condition where his head wobbles and he can occasionally look a little clumsy. He is healthy otherwise and it does not bother him in the least (more info available with approved application). CJ is happy go-lucky no matter what they are doing. He can generally be found on one of our laps or cuddled up with one or more of his brothers and sisters during nap time.

ADOPTED 11/21/2022 CLARK BAR (Male Black and White with a touch of beige) – He is the quiet leader.  It’s guaranteed those piercing blue eyes and loving gaze will win you over. Clark has been the biggest of the group from the start, now outdistancing his brothers and sisters by at least two pounds.

ADOPTED 12/01/2022 HEATH BAR (Male Black and White with a touch of beige) – This boy is polite and well-rounded. He could be an awesome cuddler. Heath loves to be cradled and loves his siblings.

ADOPTED 11/20/2022 MARSHMALLOW (Female White with a touch of beige) – She is a bit shy and reserved with people but warms up. Marshmallow is very active and engaged with her siblings

ADOPTED 12/09/2022 NOUGAT (Male Red and White) – Perhaps the most photogenic of the group, Nougat looks great from every angle. One eye is bright blue, the other more on the gray side. He is observant, vocal and likes to watch people.

AVAILABLE – PEPPERMINT PATTY (Female White with a touch of beige) – She is both playful and a little snuggle bug. She is respectful of her siblings, enjoys her playtime with them, but more so wants to be with her people.

ADOPTED 12/11/2022 SNICKERS (Female Tri Color) – Snick might be the most athletic of the bunch. We nicknamed her Ninja because she can scale short plastic fencing and get up and over. She and Sugar are probably the most adventurous of the group. Snickers, like Nougat, has two different colored eyes. One is blue, one hazel or maybe marble like her momma.

AVAILABLE – SUGAR (Female White with a touch of beige) – Miss Shugah is an adventurous, spunky gal. She was the first out the doggy door, the first to make her way down the ramp and the first to touch ground in the yard. Her mask is just starting to pop through, and those blue eyes against the white of her sweet face will make your heart melt.

ADOPTED 12/15/2022 TOOTSIE ROLL (Female Tootsie with a touch of beige) – As the smallest of a large group, Tootsie stands her ground with her brothers and sisters. She is sassy and mighty! We love to scoop her up and carry her around, or settle on the couch, and let her chill.

THE SWEETS & TREATS PUPPIES are current on vaccinations, as well as heartworm and flea/tick prevention.  They are microchipped.  As a condition of puppy adoption, they will need to be altered by their new owner when they reach approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
