How to Donate

We truly appreciate all donations to our rescue. We are an all volunteer run organization, and 100% of your donation goes directly to caring for our dogs.

Adoption fees do not cover all of the medical costs that most dogs incur. We also take in dogs who have additional medical needs beyond normal vetting for things such as broken bones, dental problems, tendon issues, and heartworm disease to name a few. Donations help us to keep our adoption fees low and bridge the gap so we can continue to provide our dogs with the medical care they need. You can donate to celebrate a birthday or commemorate a life by dedicating the donation in their name.

You can donate via PayPal, Venmo, Amazon wish list, qualified charitable distribution or by mailing a check.

Thank You! We could not save lives without your help!

How to make a

PayPal Donation

Notes on using PayPal:

  1. PayPal provides a safe, encrypted method to submit your donation via your PayPal account or major credit card (Visa, MC etc.). Your account information is not shared or stored with us.
  2. If you would like to make the donation recurring each month, check the “Make this a monthly donation” box. If you wish to stop the recurring donation, go to your PayPal account to manage the recuring transaction. For a one-time donation leave this box unchecked.

Donate using

Venmo

We now accept Venmo as a way to donate and pay adoption fees.

Or scan the QR code to open our account page.

If asked to confirm the phone number, you can skip that step and complete the transaction.

You must have an existing Venmo account to use this method.

Qualified Charitable Distribution – IRA

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a tax-free donation directly from a tax-deferred IRA to a qualified charity for individuals who are age 70½ or older. This nontaxable distribution can count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) and helps lower your taxable income without requiring you to itemize deductions. Check with your financial advisor and tax specialist to see if a QCD meets your financial goals. Distribution checks should be made out to Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions and mailed to:

Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions
P.O. Box 5004
Corning, CA 96021
