AmazonSmile is portal to Amazon.com that allows NCBCRA to receive a donation from the AmazonSmile Foundation for each purchase you make. The donation is 0.5% of the purchase price. The price you pay at AmazonSmile is the same price you pay at Amazon.com. The donation is not added to your purchase cost at check-out. Similar to the price being the same, your account details, shopping preferences, wish-lists, etc. are the same. The difference is you sign in to smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com.
The first step is to select Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions as your charitable organization. Go to https://smile.amazon.com/ch/46-5144754 to automatically select us as your charity (or change your current charity to us if you already have one).
Alternately, go to smile.amazon.com and if this is your first visit you will be greeted with a prompt to choose a charity. Type into the charity search box: “Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions” and confirm your choice. If you have an existing charity, go to the Your Account tab at the top right and select Change Your Charity from the drop down menu.
