Our Dogs

Dogs listed on this page come directly from NCBCRA. All dogs are in foster homes at the location indicated at the end of each post. All dogs will be microchipped, up to date on shots and if over 6m, spayed / neutered. Puppies under 6m will require a $75 spay / neuter deposit.

MILES is a two-year-old 56-pound Border Collie-blend with a beautiful red and white rough (long) coat, golden eyes, and a magnificently feathered tail. This boy has a dream personality – he is always assessing his environment and shaping his behavior to maintain a peaceful, kind and playful demeanor.

Meet our sweet little Daisy Duke! She is about 1.5 years old and weighs 30lbs with a short, easy-care coat. Daisy is very people and dog social. She likes to “hug” when meeting new people and at home she loves to follow her foster mom around the house! Daisy also loves to play and wrestle with other dogs and would do great with another young playful dog, preferably a dog her own size or bigger.

Hi, my name is Perkins – just call me Perk - and I am about 7 1/2 years young. My Mom thinks I am a Border collie mixed with some type of guardian dog because I watch over my family and pack mates. I have notified them TWICE of rattlesnakes in our yard, barking loudly while keeping my pack mates at a safe distance away. Mom says I am a hero dog, as we have little kids and lots of dogs in our yard that need protection from dangers like that.
