Our Dogs

Dogs on this page come directly from NCBCRA. All will be found in foster homes at the location indicated at the end of each post. All dogs will be microchipped, up to date on shots and if over 6m, spayed / neutered. Puppies under 6m will require a $75 spay / neuter deposit refundable upon same.

ADOPTION PENDING – TEDDY

**ADOPTION PENDING** Meet TEDDY! A darling, sweet and cuddly 11-week-old puppy, TEDDY is 14 pounds with a smooth beautifully marked black, white and kisses of tan (around his ears, eyebrows, and bum!) coat. He is highly socialized and loves being with his humans, playing with toys, receiving hugs and kisses, cuddling on the couch and receiving belly rubs.

FORREST AVAILABLE

FORREST is a delightful but shy Border collie mix with a soft, curly, medium length black and white coat. His front feet have short white socks while his back feet are both tipped in white. He is approximately 10 months of age and 33 pounds. FORREST loves mealtime and appreciates treats for being a good boy! He also loves toys of all kinds; bones, ropes, stuffed animals, squeakers, etc. You’ll want to keep plenty around as he has been known to steal a shoe or two (no damage, just a collector). If FORREST isn’t entertaining himself with a toy he can likely be found taking a snooze on the couch.

Hi, my name is Perkins – just call me Perk - and I am about 7 1/2 years young. My Mom thinks I am a Border collie mixed with some type of guardian dog because I watch over my family and pack mates. I have notified them TWICE of rattlesnakes in our yard, barking loudly while keeping my pack mates at a safe distance away. Mom says I am a hero dog, as we have little kids and lots of dogs in our yard that need protection from dangers like that.

SKITTLES was a great mom to her 10, yes 10, awesome Sweets and Treats puppies, and now she is ready for her forever home. Once her babies were adopted SKIT really began to shine. She has come a long way from the pancaking, pregnant, and shy gal to the protective, correcting mom, to a friendly, outgoing gal we foster parents love. She gets along well with people and other dogs. She’s been fine around the cats, but with her husky bloodlines we’d still caution against a home with cats. SKITTLES is about 2 1/2years of age, 52 lbs., with a thick medium coat.
