Our Dogs

Dogs listed on this page come directly from NCBCRA. All dogs are in foster homes at the location indicated at the end of each post. All dogs will be microchipped, up to date on shots and if over 6m, spayed / neutered. Puppies under 6m will require a $75 spay / neuter deposit.

GARNET AVAILABLE

GARNET is a 30 pound, fiery-red 4.5-month-old beauty.  She is loving, playful, and enthusiastic, a “pretty lovely” combination according to her foster mom.  GARNET is social and seeks attention.  She doesn’t want to miss out on anything, but she also likes people contact, sometimes stopping for a minute to lean into her person.  GARNET is not at all shy; in fact, nothing scares her or puts her off.  She is curious about everything and everyone and likes attention, allowing all handling, even at the vet’s office.

TANK AVAILABLE

Tank is an approximately 2-year-old Border Collie weighing around 47 pounds, and he is such a wonderful combination of playful, affectionate, goofy, and easy to live with. Tank is a cuddly guy who forms strong bonds with his people. He may be a little reserved when meeting someone new, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up. Before you know it, he’ll be looking for affection and enjoying being part of the action. Once you’re his person, you’ll have a loyal little shadow who loves being included in everyday life.

PERKINS AVAILABLE

Hi, my name is Perkins – just call me Perk - and I am about 7 1/2 years young.  My Mom thinks I am a Border collie mixed with some type of guardian dog because I watch over my family and pack mates. I have notified them TWICE of rattlesnakes in our yard, barking loudly while keeping my pack mates at a safe distance away.  Mom says I am a hero dog, as we have little kids and lots of dogs in our yard that need protection from dangers like that.
