Dogs By Owner

Due to limited resources, we are unable to accept owner surrender dogs into rescue at this time. Please email us at OwnerListings@norcalbcrescue.org should you need to rehome your dog. Owner posted dogs are required to be spayed or neutered. With all required information provided, we will post the dog on our website and cross-post on our Facebook page. Also review the exceptional information on re-homing your dog offered by the San Francisco based American Pit Bull Terrier rescue, https://badrap.org/how-help/rehoming-a-dog/

We understand the difficult decision these owners face and appreciate the effort they are making to find a suitable home for their dog. One advantage of obtaining a dog directly from its owner is much, if not all, of the dog’s history may be known.

Dogs are presented on this web page as a service and courtesy to their owners, but are not being made available for adoption through NCBCRA. We have not met these dogs and our understanding of them is limited to the information provided by their owner. Any rehoming fees are between owner and adopter. NCBCRA neither receives any fees nor intercedes in the adoption process. No fee has been required of owners to place their dogs on this web page though some owners may have provided a voluntary donation.

To enquire about a dog on this page, please contact the owner directly per the information in the post.

OPAL OWNER AVAILABLE

If interested in Opal please contact Hanchen via email at hanchen.zhou@hotmail.com Opal is a 5-year-old female Border Collie with a gentle soul and a calm, loving personality. She weighs approximately 40 lbs, is microchipped, and is spayed. Opal is a sweet and slightly shy girl who thrives in a peaceful and patient home. While she may take a little time to warm up to new people, once she feels safe, she becomes deeply trusting and affectionate in her own quiet way.

MAX OWNER AVAILABLE

If interested in MAX please contact Gwendolyn via email at zoegwen2000@gmail.com  Max is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Sacramento, CA, and is ready to meet the right adopter who can meet-adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt. This handsome guy is Max. He needs a home because his person passed away. Max was born on December 27th, 2023. He weighs about 34 pounds. Max knows sit. He is working on “look at me” and is working on “drop it”. He is also house trained. Max is a loyal guy who feels more comfortable with women than men. Kind, fair men can get him to warm up. We think a home with kids would be too busy for Max. Max is best with smaller dogs, and dogs who aren’t rambunctious. As for his home life, he will be best as the only dog. As for cats, he lives with cats but wants to chase so it is probably best if he does not live with them.
