ADOPTED Augie

Male, 9 months, 22 lbs

AUGIE MAR 2020

A big hello to a little chap, AUGIE DOGGIE! Yes this little guy, weighing in at a mere 22 lbs is frisky and fun, a good houseguest and great companion. He does have Border collie markings and looks like a miniature border collie but most likely his lineage is a mix of smaller breeds. AUGIE is cute and a cuddler, crates easily and sleeps quietly in his crate throughout the night. He gets along well with all of the other border collies here at his foster home, even grumpy old Beau who regards the bedroom as HIS territory.  AUGIE says, ok! What do I care? AUGIE is cat curious but Pucklecat is much more agile than our AUGIE and keeps out of reach easily….after all…..if the cat is hiding…..AUGIE can watch the ducks! Always something fun to do! He isn’t a barker and this happy chappie doesn’t chew or dig either. Chase, run and wrestle are on his to do list and wherever his person is….that is where AUGIE DOGGIE wants to be! AUGIE settles nicely when his person wants to spend quality time with the TV or computer. He curls up at moms feet or next to her….or even on her lap if she lets him…..well, he is little enough to be a lap dog so easy enough to do.

AUGIE is housebroken, walks nicely on lead, loads up easily for a ride in the car (fun!) and isn’t food aggressive, nor toy aggressive which is always a plus. He is cheerful and enthusiastic with new people and new dogs alike and within a few minutes of meeting the guest dog of the weekend the 2 of them were BFF’s running about or chilling on the lawn chairs together. AUGIE is sweet and gives soft kisses, loves to be petted and is packed and ready to move right in to his new, forever home. Could you be the lucky new owner for AUGIE DOGGIE to love? Send in your enquiry ASAP!

AUGIE is crate trained, sleeping quietly all night and is content and calm during down times. He’ll go into his crate willingly (as long as we throw a treat in first). He is both treat and praise motivated. He is also house trained and has not had any accidents in his foster home. AUGIE is a very happy and active boy. He is very energetic, but not over the top. AUGIE is ready to join an active family that wants to include him in all their fun and games.

AUGIE is  micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about AUGIE, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

AUGIE is being fostered in Auburn in Placer County, CA.
