LOGAN

Male,2 years , 40 lbs

A big hello to our shy boy LOGAN!

LOGAN is a 2 year old 40 lbs neutered male tri colored border collie.  This handsome boy came into rescue somewhat shy and has been warming up to his foster mom and dad and clearly enjoys his 5 bc foster brothers and sisters. He plays endless games of chase and wrestle with our younger dogs, shows a bit too much interest in the resident cat Pucklechurch,  however he is easily called off and understands that cats are to be respected! He’s enjoying playing with dog toys but you’ll need to keep an eye on socks and shoes as he rather likes to steal them and do a bit of chewing.

LOGAN is affectionate with foster mom and dad but clearly draws confidence from the other dogs in residence.  I’m looking for a home for LOGAN  that has another dog in residence for LOGAN to continue confidence building.

He’s been an excellent guest in rescue having had NO accidents in house. He easily learned which crate was his and is quiet in his crate overnight.

A good car passenger LOGAN travels well, learning leash manners and not much of a barker, digger or chewer ( except those pesky socks and slippers!)

He is a lovely boy who will make a great addition to an active home. He’s mostly a watcher when we play ball but has gone after the tennis ball and seems to want to play. LOGAN enjoys a cuddle with mom and has let me brush him, ahhh nice!  He’s ready for the right home and family just in time for the holidays! His little rucksack is packed and ready and waiting by the door. LOGAN says I’m ready mom!

LOGAN is  micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about LOGAN, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

LOGAN is being fostered in Auburn in Placer County, CA.
