ADOPTED – CALVIN (Now Tux)
Male, 4-5 ,months. 28 lbs.
Male, 4-5 ,months. 28 lbs.
CALVIN is an adorable black and white rough coat male approximately 4 – 5 months of age and 28 pounds. Calvin loves people and is what we call a wiggle butt. Approach him and his whole body gyrates in uncontrolled glee. He loves it when he gets lots of attention and pets. He loves to be invited up on the couch for snuggles. He seemed to quite enjoy watching football with his foster dad.
CALVIN gets along well with all the dogs in the house. He was a bit apprehensive crossing door thresholds, but with the help of his foster siblings he has no trouble and has really gained confidence in the couple weeks we have had him. CALVIN pays a little too much attention to the kitties. Our girls want nothing to do with him, which generally indicates he would be best off in a cat-free environment. We’d also suggest caution around small children as he is very much a puppy and can get a little mouthy. CALVIN is house and crate trained. He has not had an accident in his foster home, and sleeps quietly through the night. If he is in his crate for down time and needs to go potty he will definitely let you know.
CALVIN is a fast little guy, keeping up with the adult dogs during play time. CALVIN is looking for an active family to give him the training, physical exercise and mental stimulation he will need to be the best dog he can be. He may do best in a home with another dog to show him the ropes, increase his comfort level in a new place. He’d love it if they matched his energy for play time as he really enjoys running with fellow Perkins and Skittles.
If you think CALVIN would make a great forever friend for you and your family we’d love to hear from you.
CALVIN is started on his puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. He is also on flea & tick and heartworm prevention. As a condition of puppy adoption, he will need to be neutered when he reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
