Male, 10 Months, 39 lbs

Adoption Pending – Mr. Tibbs (Tibbs) is a 10 month old border collie mix. He can be shy at first with new people and new dogs but warms up quickly. He loves wrestling with his foster brother & sister and would do best in a home with another young and/or playful & energetic dog.

Tibbs is still working on his leash manners and trying not to get too excited when he sees squirrels- “But they’re my FAVORITE!” However, he’s come a long way. He has learned to check in with his people instead of pulling all the time. He can be easily startled by novel things at home and out on walks but recovers easily. He’s very wary of kids, though so will not be adopted to a home with children.

Mr. Tibbs is very affectionate and loves cuddles and to give kisses. He also loves food, which makes him very easy & fun to train. He’s so smart & attentive; he’d do well with a family that would be dedicated to working with him and teaching him new things. Tibbs has lived with 2 cats in his foster home. While he is very curious and wants to play with them he is also easily redirected and respects being told to leave the cats alone.

Tibbs is very charming and gets tons of compliments from strangers when he’s out. Tibbs is potty trained, crate trained, and rides well in his crate in the car on his way to new adventures.

Tibbs is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
