ADOPTED – AMADOR aka M
Male, 3 years, 60 lbs
Male, 3 years, 60 lbs
AMADOR (“M” for short) is ready for his forever home. This lovable, loving boy is 3 years of age, 60 Pounds (will perhaps max at about 65), and as kind and gentle as they come. He loves people, dogs, and even cats. He has been an excellent guest, so please read more about him and let us know if this is the boy of your dreams.
AMADOR is as happy outside playing with his foster siblings as he is claiming a dog bed or spot on the couch during indoor free time. He will even nuzzle and engage in play with our Cat Screechy. Screech loves it as he is not used to dogs reciprocating the affection he shows. What “M” really wants though is the attention and love of his humans. When dad gives him a glance from his recliner, “M” will saunter over and lay his head on the arm rest for pets. When dad stops Amador will retreat to his spot to chill out. When all the dogs head outside “M” gladly joins them but is extra excited when dad joins them. He’ll alternate between dad and dogs the whole time. He enjoys playing ball for a short time, but gets bored with that easily. He has not shown much interest in bones and toys.
AMADOR is both house and crate trained. He is learning “Crate” but mostly goes in because he knows it is meal or treat time. He sleeps quietly overnight, waiting patiently for dad or mom to let him out, or will join in with the other dogs to let them know they are sleeping TOO late. “M” travels well in his crate. His recall is quite good. A sharp whistle or calling to come always does the trick.
If you are looking for a loyal companion who wants to be a big part of your life, please consider adding AMADOR to your family.
