Adopted – ANDIE

Female, 1 – 2 years, 30 lbs

Adoption pending, no more applications please –

1 – 2 year-old ANDIE is a 30lb Border collie / Australian Cattle Dog mix. Andie is deaf, but it does not stop her from being the life of the party. She is curious, high-energy, alert, and makes fast friends with people and other dogs.

Still being young, plenty of “legal” chew toys and a wire crate for unsupervised moments would be a good idea. Because Andie is deaf, so she will need a very secure enclosure when outdoors. Andie’s recall is a work in progress, as is often the case with hearing-impaired dogs, so leashing her on outings is also important. She is accustomed to being inside during the day with other humans and dogs and to sleeping indoors near her human/canine pack. It is unknown how she behaves with cats or children, but she shows no signs of aggression. This gentle, velcro-hugging girl would be ideal for a person or family with plenty of time and patience to devote. She is worth it.

ANDIE is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about ANDIE, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

ANDIE is being fostered north of Sacramento, CA.
