ADOPTED – BANDIT

Male, 2 years, 45 lbs
Meet BANDIT, the charming and affectionate 2-year-old Tri Colored Border Collie mix who will steal your heart in no time. With his mostly white and black coat, and some brown on his hind legs, Bandit weighs about 45 pounds and is looking for a loving family that wants a loyal companion.
BANDIT is a cuddle bug that will happily snuggle with you, hug you, and follow you wherever you go. He is great with other dogs and loves to play. Food and love are his two favorite things, and he is highly motivated by both. He is a very talented shredder so if you are looking at dog toys make sure to buy tough ones and monitor his play; he can find the squeaker in a plush toy in under 5 minutes.
When it comes to grooming and handling, Bandit is a dream. He is good about being brushed and groomed and has no issues with being picked up or having his feet and tail touched. He is a gentle boy who just wants to be loved and be part of a family.
BANDIT’s herding instinct is present, so he needs a cat-free environment. He is crate trained, but he does have some marking instincts and needs to be watched while roaming around the house (especially in the first days of introductions to all of the new scents). With proper training and attention, this behavior can be managed. Bandit needs a home with someone who understands border collie tendencies and knows how to engage both his mental and physical needs.
Above all, BANDIT needs a family who will make him feel secure and loved. He is an attached dog who thrives on affection and attention. Bandit will make a loyal and loving addition to any family who is willing to open their hearts and home to him.
