ADOPTED – BRODY

Male, 10 months, 35 lbs
Let us introduce Mr. BRODY! BRODY is a fun-loving 35-pound ball of energy with a beautiful rough coat. BRODY is petite in size and approximately 10 months old so he’s done growing. He is the perfect size! BRODY is house and crate trained and easy to live with in the house. He’s cooperative to do what the humans ask. He loves all toys and laying down to chew a bone during evening hours.
He loves playing with his doggy friends but BRODY tends to think, “what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine”. He doesn’t like to share his toys. He would do well with a confident, stable resident dog in the home or be the only dog in the home. He will need his humans to make sure the rules are clear to set BRODY up for success. Once he understands the rules, BRODY makes good choices. BRODY does like felines a little too much, so he will need a cat-free environment.
When BRODY meets friendly humans he can be a bit shy at first. That quickly wears off as BRODY gets the opportunity to sniff and get a tasty treat from his new friends. Then he wants all the snuggles and cuddles any human can give. BRODY is learning what the leash means and why he is connected to a human. He will pull if something very exciting is nearby but typically he is nice to walk on leash. He may briefly bark at a human or dog that we pass on our walks. BRODY loves adventuring and will love to go with his family where they go. He is also content to stay home and rest in his crate.
BRODY is a very sweet adolescent that will thrive in a home that is interested in continuing his training. He is food motivated so training is fun!
