ADOPTED COCO
Female, 1 year, 32 lbs
Female, 1 year, 32 lbs
Meet our sweet little COCO! She is a 32lb, 1yr old BC mix. She has an easy care smooth coat and darling little spots on her nose and feet. She is such a great size. She may put on a few pounds and fill out some, but she will always be on the smaller side.
COCO loves other dogs! She just wants to play, play, play. She would do well with another young dog who also likes to wrestle and chase. Older dogs may be annoyed by her exuberance and desire to play. She will chase the cats in her foster home, so she needs a cat free environment. She is very food and praise motivated and is a fast learner. She is going to be a joy to train. She is very athletic, loves the water and would do well in any kind of dog sport. She would make a great hiking/running/adventure partner as well.
COCO is a medium to high energy girl. She will need daily exercise and mental stimulation. After a walk or playtime, she will settle at your feet, until it’s time to go find a toy and make her own fun. She loves balls and will bring it back most of the time. She likes to chew on any kind of chew toy. She has not chewed anything inappropriate in the house. She loves plush and squeaky toys too. Anything fun and this girl in in!
COCO can be somewhat shy meeting new people. She needs slow introductions. Once she knows you, she is your best friend. Her foster feels that with consistency and training, she can overcome this. Coco is learning to walk on a leash and has improved with each walk. She rides fine in a car, no drooling or car sickness, and is best being crated in the car.
COCO goes into her crate at night with a treat and after a few minutes of quiet protest she settles down and is quiet the rest of the night. She is fully potty trained with no accidents in the house. She uses the dog door to go out when needed. She has free roam of the house when her foster is at home. When her foster is away, she is fine with being crated for an hour or two during the day.
COCO is an amazing dog who is going to make someone an incredible companion. She is so willing, so eager to please. She just wants to be with her person and be part of the family.
