Male, 4 Months. 15 lbs
IKEY is a smart, even tempered little guy who loves to hang with people, other dogs and even wants to play with the kitties. He has a strong desire to be with his people. He enjoys a good round of tug, whether with the foster mom or the other dogs. He loves all toys but those that squeak are especially fun. IKEY is approximately four months and 15 pounds, with a medium silky wavy coat.
IKEY is both praise and treat motivated which will make training a whole lot of fun. IKEY is doing well with basic commands like off and down, responds well to recall most of the time and does well on a leash. IKEY is really getting the whole potty outside thing. We won’t quite call him housetrained but he is probably 90% there. He is comfortable and quiet in his crate and will sleep through the night. He also is quite happy sleeping on the bed.
IKEY is started on his puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption, he will need to be altered when he reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about IKEY, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.
