ADOPTED – KIND

Male, 14 Weeks 9 lbs

KIND DEC 2021

KIND is the Leader of the Pack – He wants to please, takes positively to correction so should be fun to train. Like his siblings, KIND  is an active pup, and loves to cuddle.  All toys & games are on his list of favorite activities. He gives warm crazy kisses and likes to be talked to directly. Loves tug toys and is super sweet with me! Our boy is really growing up. He’s getting long and lanky and his coat is a very shiny black. KIND can be very energetic but  also settle down and be a calm cuddly love.

Mama Mercy’s pups were born around 10/1/21, & they are excited about finding their forever homes.  Mama weighs about 36 pounds.  We don’t know who the dad or dads are, so we are offering an educated guess on the pups’ adult sizes.  Mama Mercy (last Photo) will be available for Adoption after her spay. We are not taking applications for her at this time.

These pups have two speeds: crazy-playing (tugging, chewing, tossing, wrestling, running, etc.) or sleeping.  Their new families will have lots of laughs watching their antics.  They love people, dogs, & cats that will play with them.  They love all toys, especially tug toys & boxes they can play on & in.  When they finally tire of playing, they can be snuggly & affectionate, but their go-to preference is to play, & they like people best who will play with them.

These puppies are ruff-&-tumble, playing hard.  So, they will thrive best in homes that are ready for fun & adventure & who know how to direct the puppies in appropriate play, homes who are ready to train & manage the puppies’ environment.  The pups might also do well in a home with an adult dog that is even-tempered & will help to show a new puppy in the family the ropes.  They know how to go in-&-out of a doggy door, but they don’t yet know the purpose of a doggy door.  They eat their meals each in their own crate, but they are all sleeping together in a puppy pen.

KIND is started on his puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption, he will need to be altered when he reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about KIND, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

KIND is being fostered in Live Oak in Sutter County, CA.
