ADOPTED – LOKI

Male, 9 weeks, 12 lbs
MAMA CASSIE’S (AKA CASSIOPEIA) Stars & Planets pups were born on 12/02/22, & at 9-weeks-old they are ready, ready, ready to find their forever homes. Mama Cassie is a 32#, black & white, rough-coated girl with a bobbed tail. She loves people, & her puppies have inherited her friendliness.
LOKI likes people. He follows people around like a little shadow. Herding dog? You bet. While Loki is a very active puppy, he also has a calm side, & can switch between the two energy levels easily. Loki has beautiful, soft green eyes. Like his littermates, he loves treats, & he is learning to pay attention for which behaviors he can offer that will get him a reward. He, too, likes toys.
These puppies are all beautifully marked & have easy-care coats. All five are social, smart, & confident. They have been raised around other adult border collies & with cats, & they are good with both. The puppies love to chase each other, & they are very keen to play. They learn quickly & are all treat-motivated. Because of their energy levels & keen desire to learn, they will do best in homes where they will have things to do & not just walks around the neighborhood. They can be placed in single dog homes or in homes with one other dog, but as puppies they will need someone who can devote themselves to providing the stimulation & challenges young border collies need to thrive.
LOKI is started on his puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. He is also on flea & tick and heartworm prevention. As a condition of puppy adoption, he will need to be altered when he reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
