UPDATED Adopted 12/5 CAREE and DEVO ADOPTED
Mama Mercy’s 7 pups are a few days past 8-weeks-old (born around 10/1/21), & they are excited about finding their forever homes. Their average weight is 7 pounds, so we predict that they will be medium-sized dogs as adults. Mama weighs about 36 pounds. We don’t know who the dad or dads are, so we are offering an educated guess on the pups’ adult sizes. Mama Mercy (Photo 5) will be available for Adoption after her spay. We are not taking applications for her at this time.
These pups have two speeds: crazy-playing (tugging, chewing, tossing, wrestling, running, etc.) or sleeping. Their new families will have lots of laughs watching their antics. They love people, dogs, & cats that will play with them. They love all toys, especially tug toys & boxes they can play on & in. When they finally tire of playing, they can be snuggly & affectionate, but their go-to preference is to play, & they like people best who will play with them.
These puppies are ruff-&-tumble, playing hard. So, they will thrive best in homes that are ready for fun & adventure & who know how to direct the puppies in appropriate play, homes who are ready to train & manage the puppies’ environment. The pups might also do well in a home with an adult dog that is even-tempered & will help to show a new puppy in the family the ropes. They know how to go in-&-out of a doggy door, but they don’t yet know the purpose of a doggy door. They eat their meals each in their own crate, but they are all sleeping together in a puppy pen.
Numbers in Collage Photo Correspond to number in parentheses after name. Otherwise puppy pics are in alphabetical order with Mama in the middle and group photos at the end.
Caree ADOPTED 12/5 (Female – 1). Caree is the “big sister” pup, the leader of the group. All of the puppies like her & want to play with her. Caree likes to cuddle, but her favorite things to do are tugs, chase balls, & RUN.
Dear ADOPTED 12/18 (Female – 2) Dear is a sweet girlie. Like her siblings, she likes to tug & to play with balls & stuffed toys (stuffing removed), but she is also a contented puppy.
Devo ADOPTED 12/5 (Female – 3) Devo is a self-assured, persistent, I-can-do-anything girl. Very active, one of her favorite things to do is to climb up on things. A hiking/climbing buddy? She also likes to tug.
Helper ADOPTED 12/18. ((Male – 4) Helper is very food-motivated, which will be great for training. His favorite activities are to run & play & chew toys (or anything else left where he can get it).
Kind. (Male – 6) Like his siblings, Kind is an active pup, but he also loves to cuddle. All toys & games are on his list of favorite activities.confident. There isn’t anything these two don’t like to try.
Liker ADOPTED 12/10. (Male – 7) Liker & Pash are very much alike. Their foster mom calls them “The Twins.” Not only do they look alike, but they have very similar personalities: fun-loving, silly, social, & confident. There isn’t anything these two don’t like to try.
Pash (Male – 9) Pash & Liker are very much alike. Their foster mom calls them “The Twins.” Not only do they look alike, but they have very similar personalities: fun-loving, silly, social, & confident. There isn’t anything these two don’t like to try.
