ADOPTED – OREO

Male, 9 months, 34 lbs

OREO is a young male (approximately 9 months old) that is ready to go, go, go adventure in the world!  OREO is 34 pounds and has a beautiful smooth coat. OREO is a smart boy that loves learning new things and adaptive to new environments.  He’s food and toy motivated which makes training fun.  You’ll want to put his brain to work to ensure that he funnels his energy into positive experiences and behaviors.

OREO enjoys social experiences with humans and dogs.  When he’s walking outside on leash he gets so excited to greet doggy friends that he may pull towards them to say “hello” in a friendly way. OREO would love to have a canine sibling to romp around with in and around the home. He will share toys with his furry friends.   He loves a good chewbone to relax with at night.  OREO is too interested in cats. A home without feline friends is a must.

OREO will rest quietly in a crate when his humans need to do human things.  He also sleeps quietly in a crate at night.  OREO can be mischievous when unsupervised so the use of a crate is necessary until he matures and proves that he will make good choices around the home. OREO is housetrained. He also gets a bit of a tummy upset on car rides.

If you are looking for a fun, smart high-energy boy to train in a performance sport or other fun activity, come meet Mr. OREO!

OREO is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about OREO, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org.
