Reed

Male, 2 years old, 46 lbs

Adopted – REED

A big hello to our handsome boy REED! Our 2 year old energetic young male Border Collie mix is a sweet ❤ heart who loves to have fun with the other Border Collies at his foster home. He and two other 2 year olds spend a lot of quality time wrestling, chasing and playing tug with the abundant stuffed toys in and about the house and garden. REED is a well behaved boy who is housebroken, not a chewer or digger and not an excessive barker either. He crates easily ( go into your house!) and is quiet overnight. Good boy!
REED is respectful of Pucklechurch the resident cat. 🐈 He is curious but keeps a respectful distance with her as he is smart enough to know what she could do if he decided to bug her! He is not at all a pup looking for trouble…..he’s a really good boy and very affectionate, loving and loves to be petted. Ear scratching and tummy tickles are a must with REED. He comes running when called and although he has tried to jump up on furniture etc., he is called off easily and is learning house manners quickly.
Our REED weighs in at a sleek 46lbs (well maybe a tad less after his neuter) and he is learning to walk easily on leash. He loves to go for rides in the car, and generally is up for a fun time wherever and whenever you’d like to go! REED has packed his rucksack and is ready to go home in time for Valentines Day…..or Easter at the very latest!! Come and get me! I will love you forever! Woof!

REED is  micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about REED, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

REED is being fostered in Auburn in Placer County, CA.
