ADOPTED – STELLA

Female, 4 months, 15 lbs

STELLA is a sweet and lively 15-pound, 4-month-old puppy who will steal your heart.  STELLA’s personality is fun, optimistic, sassy, playful, cuddly, wiggly, loving and wild!  She has beautiful red-brown coat with a touch of white on one foot and a star on her chest.    As an exuberant and active puppy, be prepared with games, training opportunities, and/or future dog sports.

STELLA enjoys rough and tumble play with her BC foster sister but also likes to chill on the couch in between bouts of play.  She loves playing in water and jumps into the kiddie pool to cool off on a regular basis.  When 9pm rolls around, bedtime includes a little snack along with a cuddly blanket and toys in her crate.  STELLA sleeps the night through, waking when the sun comes up for a new day of play.

A fast learner, STELLA loves to explore and learn new things.  She will want to be with you, doing things together that you both enjoy.  STELLA connects beautifully with people of all ages and has experienced both dogs and cats in her foster home. If you give her what she needs to work her little brain & body, there is an “off switch” & she will be happy snuggling or hanging out with you.

STELLA has had a fair number of visitors in her foster home & has been charming to one & all.  She is working on her housebreaking, and will improve with your one-on-one, consistent direction.

STELLA is micro-chipped, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (https://norcalbcrescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/) and wish to inquire about STELLA, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you do not have an approved application, or it has been over a year since applying, please fill out a new application here Adoption Application.
