Female, 3 years, 30 lbs.
SUNI, named after the Olympic gold medalist gymnast Suni Lee, is pure gold. She is approximately 3 -years-old, and many say she is the perfect size at 30 pounds. This delightful little girl adores people and just wants to be touched and petted. She will lay her head in your hand and soak up affection. She is simply a love and would thrive in a home where she can be with her people much of the time.
SUNI gets along well with other dogs, reading other dogs well and responding appropriately. She loves a good game of chase and would probably enjoy a canine companion, although her humans are her first love. SUNI is of moderate energy. While she relishes racing about the yard and following her foster brother around, she settles down quietly inside and enjoys being with her people.
SUNI is a little nervous at first in new surroundings but after checking everything out becomes comfortable in short order.
SUNI appears to be mostly praise and touch motivated, though yummy treats (e.g., hot dogs, chicken) are also appreciated. She is not particularly interested in toys but will occasionally engage with a soft toy or chase a ball. SUNI was picked up as a stray with no prior training. We have started working on some basic training, and she is learning how to learn.
SUNI has never had an accident in her foster home and has learned to use the doggy door. She rides well in a crate in the car, settling down without fussing. She sleeps quietly in an X-pen at night when she is in the room with her people. She walks on a leash without hesitation and does not pull significantly.
SUNI is micro-
