MAMA CASSIE’S (AKA CASSIOPEIA) Stars & Planets pups were born on 12/02/22, & at 9-weeks-old they are ready, ready, ready to find their forever homes. Mama Cassie is a 32#, black & white, rough-coated girl with a bobbed tail. She loves people, & her puppies have inherited her friendliness.
VENUS is the smallest of the group, but not by much. And don’t tell her she’s little! She is not afraid to go exploring & adventuring in the big yard on her own or with her littermates. Venus also likes to play with toys: soft toys, boxes, puppy tunnels; she’s ready to play. She also will sometimes hang out on the sidelines & watch before leaping into action & following along in the play.
These puppies are all beautifully marked & have easy-care coats. All five are social, smart, & confident. They have been raised around other adult border collies & with cats, & they are good with both. The puppies love to chase each other, & they are very keen to play. They learn quickly & are all treat-motivated. Because of their energy levels & keen desire to learn, they will do best in homes where they will have things to do & not just walks around the neighborhood. They can be placed in single dog homes or in homes with one other dog, but as puppies they will need someone who can devote themselves to providing the stimulation & challenges young border collies need to thrive.
VENUS is started on her puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. She is also on flea & tick and heartworm prevention. As a condition of puppy adoption, she will need to be altered when she reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
