ZUMA is BC mix with lovely soft ears and a smooth coat that is a dream to touch. And he loves everyone he meets! His lovely white nose makes look a bit like a clown, but that is just him fooling you; he is very smart. He has grown into a lovey pup that is learning basic commands like sit and stay. He is crate-trained, and when it’s meal time, he will run into his crate and sit, waiting nicely for his food, Best of all: he is making good progress learning to potty outside. He loves to learn, and is treat and toy motivated, so he will be a joy to train. His favorite toys are soft squeaky toys.
ZUMA loves exploring the back yard, but if he had the chance he would rather hang out with his humans in the house. This means that sometimes, he is slow to go outside, especially when it is still dark. Once outside, he is in full explore mode. He also enjoys playing with his packmate Malibu, doing zoomies around the yard and trying to get branches away from Malibu. He has learned not to bug the big dogs when they’re not interested in playing. He does not seem to care too much about squirrels, and we don’t know about cats. Despite being a smart, active, adventurous, and playful pup, ZUMA also likes to cuddle and will settle down after a good play session. He is not a barker; the only time he barks is when he hears his foster mom and dad coming downstairs in the morning, and as soon as they’re in view, he quiets right down.
ZUMA is started on his puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. He is also on flea & tick and heartworm prevention. As a condition of puppy adoption, he will need to be altered when he reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
