Say hello to LADYBUG – The Frolicking Free Spirit!
Ladybug is a 21lb, 17-week-old BC mix who really lives up to her name – charming, curious, and always ready for a new adventure. This fun-loving girl is built for frolicking in the grass, chasing butterflies (or her tail), and making you laugh with her playful energy. Her favorite thing to do is play with her dog friends, followed by playing with her humans.
LADYBUG knows how to sit and is learning to wait. She likes to play with a flirt pole, and a good chew toy when relaxing. She is potty trained, crate trained, and walks on a leash in the yard with encouragement. When taking car rides Ladybug quickly falls asleep.
LADYBUG gets along great with other dogs, dog savvy cats, older kids, and adults. She has not met any young children yet. She has interacted through the fence with goats, chickens and ducks without reacting.
LADYBUG would love to have a buddy dog she can do zoomies with and would do best in a home where her people are active and available. Ladybug is ready for her next adventure and her own forever family!
LADYBUG is microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Puppies under 6m are too young to be spayed/neutered, and will be adopted with a contract that requires the new owner to have the dog altered at the appropriate age (age to be determined by owner’s veterinarian). In addition to the adoption fee, there is a $75.00 spay/neuter deposit. The spay/neuter deposit will be refunded upon proof of the dog being altered.
If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (https://norcalbcrescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/) and wish to inquire about LADYBUG, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you do not have an approved application, or it has been over a year since applying, please fill out a new application here Adoption Application.
