Meet Squid, a 26 pound, 6-month-old sweetheart. He’s loving, smart, and he likes to please. What more could you ask for?

Squid is an easy-going pup with a medium energy level. He is confident and calm in new situations, and he loves people and other dogs. Squid is such a nice guy that he easily shares his toys with his dog friends. He loves to play and run with the other dogs in his foster home, but he can also entertain himself with his favorite crinkly toys and chew bones. Heck, he’s even good with cats! When he’s done playing, he is happy to rest quietly.

Unlike a lot of border collie pups his age, Squid doesn’t see the need to be “on the go” all the time. He likes to go places and have “puppaventures,” but he doesn’t have to run marathons. He does like going on leash walks, and is getting the hang of that, and he rides happily and quietly in the car.

Squid loves both treats and toys, so both of these can be used as good motivators for training this eager-to-please little fellow. He already knows how to “sit” when asked; he’s crate-trained, and his housetraining is coming along nicely.

If you’re looking for a smart, happy-go-lucky pup that wants to be your next best friend, a true pal dog who will happily share everything with you, Squid might be the pup for you. He wants someone who has time to spend with him, teaching him how to be the best boy he can be. He would be happy living with another social dog or as your one-and-only.

SQUID is micro-chipped, neutered, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, and up-to-date on vaccines.
