Bubba is an 8-year-old Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix who came into my care after a neglectful situation. I stepped in to keep him out of the shelter system, and my goal now is to find him the stable, loving forever home he has always deserved.

Bubba is incredibly intelligent and intuitive, and he bonds deeply with his person. He thrives with structure and clear leadership. He enjoys long walks, puzzles, and other mentally stimulating activities. Doggy daycare and active days help him relax and settle nicely at home. He is affectionate, loyal, and eager to please.

He would do best in an adult home with someone who understands herding breeds and enjoys a smart dog who likes to learn. Bubba is house trained, crate trained, and great in the car. He has a strong prey drive, so a home without cats is required. He may do best as an only dog.

Bubba has mild arthritis and could benefit from slow weight loss with regular exercise, but he is otherwise healthy. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
