MALIBU (Male) is the final pup of The Boys of Summer litter, waiting to find his forever home. At 30 pounds, four-month-old MALIBU has a sleek smooth coat, white chest, light shawl, a white blaze on his face and a touch of white on his two back feet. This boy is loving, smart, adventurous, curious, and sweet and has been a fav with his foster family.
MALIBU loves to be in your lap to be petted and cuddled, and he will lay at your feet for a nap as he always wants to be near his person(s). He will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy, and will be a blast to train, using toys & treats & through the wonderful bond you will form. MALIBU will need things to do to stimulate him mentally as well as physically to help him be the best boy he can be. He might enjoy dog sports like agility, or canine scent work (aka nose work). MALIBU will be willing to do whatever you ask him to do & then snuggle with you afterward.
MALIBU sleeps in his crate all night, is nearly potty trained, has other dogs in his foster home so he is socialized to both young and older BCs. He loves to play with toys, wrestle and play games, and is a welcoming and polite greeter to all. MALIBU is a happy boy, giving so much love to those around him.
MALIBU is started on his puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. He is also on flea & tick and heartworm prevention. As a condition of puppy adoption, he will need to be altered when he reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about MALIBU, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.
