PANSY is a petite (32#) sweetheart. A little bit shy of first meeting, she warms up quickly to people and gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. Pansy loves to follow her foster mom around when she does her chores in the morning and evening. She has nice house manners and is housebroken and crate-trained.
All of these things said, Pansy is a “real” border collie, one that will need a job or the equivalent. She has strong drive and needs to live with someone who can provide her the outlet for her smarts and keen desire to work. So, Pansy needs someone with border collie experience, training experience, and a plan in place for what they are going to do to give this little gal what she needs to thrive. She will not be happy or easy to live with if she doesn’t have the kind of meaningful activity she needs. With her needs met, she does have an off switch, and then you can see the sweet and devoted friend she can also be.
