ADOPTED – DOMINO

Male, 12 Months, 50 lbs

DOMINO is a one-year-old 54-pound Border Collie-blend with long legs, a soft medium coat, and beautiful markings. As a young dog, this boy loves to play and run. He is a PUPPY at heart, loves toys and enjoys pets and cuddles. DOMINO is curious and alert, does not show typical herding behaviors, and can be mischievous! He needs to be kept active, busy, and engaged with his family. DOMINO likes to be out in the yard experiencing the day with other dogs and his people. He easily settles down for naps in his crate, and sleeps the entire night through.

DOMINO has well-developed dew claws on his rear legs that might be similar to those of guardian dogs. The veterinarian says that the dew claws are fully developed digits and should be left alone. They have not caused any cause for concern, even though DOMINO is an active player and wrestler.

DOMINO is housebroken, crate trained and is treat motivated. He is ready for your friendship and guidance. He rides well in the car and gets along well with his foster pack mates. DOMINO might do best in a house with another dog buddy who loves to play. We have not tested him with cats (alas, we are a cat-less household).

DOMINO is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about DOMINO, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

DOMINO is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, California.
