ADOPTED Archie

Male, 1 year, 34 lbs

Meet ARCHIE, a sweet one-year-old boy with gorgeous markings, stand-up ears and a lovely smooth coat.   At 34 pounds, ARCHIE is a medium sized dog; his structure and ‘cat-like’ feet suggests McNabb.  He likes to run and play at herding the other dogs when the ball being thrown, so he has strong drive but also like to be hugged, petted and have his belly scratched.

ARCHIE gets along well with the different personalities in his BC foster pack.  He is a fast runner, highly sociable (although a bit shy), observant, and not a barker and house broken.  As a young dog, ARCHIE has a lot of energy and likes to play games and wrestle, but he also settles down in a soft bed for naps during the day, and sleeps all night in his crate.

It’s impossible not to like ARCHIE!   He is good-natured, enthusiastic, and kind.

ARCHIE is  micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to inquire about ARCHIE, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

ARCHIE is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, CA.
