LINDY HOP: Active, kind, gentle soul looking for same. LINDY loves giving hugs, snuggling up on the couch, and heading outside for playtime. The key for LINDY is that she wants her person to share in all the good stuff. Show LINDY love and she will love you back 10 fold.
LINDY was named for the “Lindy Hop” dance craze of the 30’s and 40’s. She came to us while recovering from a degloved rear lower leg. As you can see from the video her happy demeanor never wavered. She does retain a little bit of a hop in her step but that does not slow her down a bit, nor does it seem to bother her. The hop has become must less noticeable over time and that trend may continue. Either way she has no restrictions and is ready to join in all the family activities.
Lindy wears her soft, shiny smooth coat very well. She weighs in at about 36 lbs. We expect her to get a little bigger as she fills out and matures. Lindy is house & crate trained. She understands “crate” and is learning sit. Her recall is excellent which comes as no surprise with her drive to be with her person. Call her name or whistle and she will sprint to you. She bonds quickly with anyone who shows her kindness and attention.
Lindy is good with all the other animals in the house. We have several dogs ranging from 13 years to 11 weeks of age, as well as a cat, and all get along well. She adapts her play energy down when she is with the puppies. Lindy is ready to hop to it and find her forever family.
