ADOPTED Luna

Luna, 8 months 40 lbs
Introducing our beautiful blonde female border collie, LUNA! Our LUNA is a rather rare in coloring BC in the tan/ yellow/blond recessive end of the color chart. Her nose has a liver color, known as a “Dudley nose” referring to the liver colored pigmentation of her nose and around her eyes. The result is absolutely lovely in Miss LUNA. At about 8 months old and 40 lbs LUNA is a bouncy girl, all personality and fun. She likes all of her pack mates in her foster home….but is a bit too exuberant for the older two. She is too curious and outgoing for the resident cat as well but doesn’t actually chase or bother her. With LUNA it is just her curiosity on steroids that are too much for PuckleCat. LUNA doesn’t bark excessively and is not a chewer or destructive digger.
LUNA is house broken having learned to use a dog door quickly. Smart as a whip, LUNA has mastered “sit” “shake” and “down” and is food motivated which makes training much more fun for all! Luna is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate all night. She likes to chew on and play with the deer antlers and kongs provided by her foster home. Happy and exuding confidence, she is very affectionate and loving and with some training will be the best border collie she can be! LUNA loves the outdoors and spends her days playing with new BFF Gael at her foster home, but some of the time she can be seen trotting confidently behind foster dad as he works on the house siding etc. LUNA is the perfect companion for just about any activity. She is ready for her new forever home and is busy packing her rucksack and getting last minute tummy tickles from mom before she starts out on her next new adventure. She will do well as a BFF to another dog but will be fine as an only dog as well. LUNA wants to play! Come and get me she says!
LUNA is started on her puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped.
