SADIE is just about the cutest and sweetest pup you will ever meet. She is a young, rough-coated sable girl, weighing in at 45lbs with room to grow. SADIE has proven herself to be a quick learner and does not like to disappoint. She picked up her name in a matter of days, has not had any accidents in her foster home, and knows what “no” means. Although she does not exactly prefer her crate, she can typically be coaxed in with a treat and tolerates it while her fosters are away from home. SADIE is learning not to jump on people, figuring out what she can and cannot chew on, and realizing that everybody and everything is her friend.
SADIE steals quite literally everyone’s hearts that she meets. Although she barks in the backyard at things from afar, she greets all newcomers very happily. SADIE loves to sit at anybody’s, yes anybody’s, feet and simply be petted. She thrives on attention! SADIE was initially fearful upon entering her foster home, but has blossomed with love and care. She has been appropriate upon meeting children and has been exposed to many farm animals at her foster’s home.
SADIE is very interested in chickens and goats from the backyard, but she can easily be redirected. She has a typical instinct to chase anything that runs, but again, easily calms. She showed interest in a cat, but she did not chase it and has been good around horses. SADIE has met dogs both large and small and wants to play with them all! Throughout the day if she isn’t playing with her foster siblings, she is either chewing on toys or sound asleep.
