Sweet Lux
Lux is an 8 year old McNab mix born in Sonoma County in 2017. We rescued her and her sister after the Tubbs fire in Santa Rosa, CA and took them in as foster puppies. We then adopted both of them and they have lived with us together for the last 8 years. Lux is a healthy and active 8 year old female. She is about 48 pounds, spayed since she was a puppy. She had one major injury on her hind leg that was resolved three years ago. She sometimes may get a bit more tired on that side or strain it and need a bit of rest for the next day. She loves treats, snuggles, blankets, and stuffy toys. She is all up to date on vaccines, has Trio Simpatico for three months more, and is microchipped.
Lux and her sister have recently developed littermate aggression toward each other and we need to separate them. For a number of reasons, we feel Lux would do better in a home without other dogs or children where she could be a solo dog given lots of love, affection, and attention. She may do well with another dog that is larger than her, but not one that is smaller.

Lux is a super sweet dog. We have poured our love and resources into her. She had a leg injury several years ago that was life threatening. We saved her. We love her and want her to have the best possible home. She is highly trained and eager to please. Could she be your forever mate?
