Meet Charlotte! A spunky, highly intelligent, 5 yr old 70lb border collie/husky mix with a daring personality who knows exactly what she wants and will tell you through her “awoos”! She is food motivated, eager for clear rules and for her boundaries to be respected. Her favorite spot at home is lounging on the couch in her signature pose on her back, waiting for her next adventure with you. She wants to be your partner in crime while out running, hiking, swimming, and tracking small prey. She loves to be active and have a job, but would happily lounge around at home too. She has great recall, is crate trained, potty trained, e-collar trained, and knows all basic commands. She’s not afraid to show other dogs who’s boss- she dislikes any other female dogs, small dogs, and can be selective of large male dogs.

Charlotte has struggled to live in our home environment with two other dogs and needed constant supervision and reactive boundaries that we will sadly not be able to manage any more with a baby on the way. She has a nipping/biting history with our two dogs at home, but has shown no human aggression except for one nipping incident with owner out of stress when she was sick with an upset stomach (fully recovered). She prefers humans over dogs and would be her best self and better suited in a single dog household with no other animals or small children, where she can get all the attention.
