A true love bug, who thinks he’s a lap dog, Finn is 10 years old (and about 40 pounds). He was born on a farm in Iowa on the 4th of July, and adopted by his long term owner from this farm. He became a constant companion to his owner, traversing various states, and exploring much of the wilderness between their homes in Wisconsin and California. Unfortunately, his owner recently passed and now Finn’s living with a senior citizen who is unable to bring him on walks, or play fetch with him, as much as Finn would like. He loves to run in open, outdoor spaces and sniff everything. He’s great with all adults, but a bit skittish around little kids (kids 9+ and teens would be fine). He does have leash anxiety towards other dogs, so he needs a bit of training there, but he’s good with other dogs in an open, outdoor, off-leash environment. He loves dog toys, playing fetch, and being told he’s a “good boy.” He’s not a fan of cows, fireworks, or cats. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He lives in Petaluma, California.
