Available Dogs
Just thought we’d check in and let you know how Biscuit is doing. We’ve taken her on a few hikes and she can totally keep up. We went to a place in Auburn and she came back with red paws from all the red dirt! We soon realized she does not like baths! But she was a trooper and cleaned up nicely.
We’ve been crate training her and she is doing SOOO well. All we say is crate and she goes right in. Training has been going so well and she already knows so many commands. We ask her to sit and down she goes. Still being a pup her long term memory is not quite there yet (hehehe). But each week she learns a little more.
She has been an amazing addition and blessing to our family. She takes turns sleeping with my husband and I and then the next morning we’ll find her passed out in our daughters room. We crack up every time she lies down and starts talking when she’s tired. We couldn’t find any toys that she really enjoyed. We throw them and she stares at them. So yesterday, my daughter was carrying this rope and biscuit attacked it! Yipee! We have found her “thing”! Tug-A-War.
Thank you so much for giving us this very special opportunity of adopting Biscuit. You are doing a GREAT thing for these dogs and your commitment is much appreciated.
Sincerely, The Anderson Family
